There are MANY areas you can help!

With its massive size, several volunteers are needed to man The Moving Wall at all times. These volunteers are there to help people sign in, escort them, direct parking, and to assist those who may have trouble accessing the wall, etc. Volunteer shifts will be four hours long.

Hosting The Moving Wall is an incredible task that takes many people coming together to coordinate to make it happen. We need as many volunteers as possible for this amazing opportunity.

Volunteers will be needed to take shifts to monitor the wall since it is open 24 hours a day. With its massive size, several volunteers are needed to man The Moving Wall at all times. These volunteers are there to help people sign in, escort them, direct parking, and to assist those who may have trouble accessing the wall, etc. Volunteer shifts will be four hours long.

Please accept our sincere appreciation for considering to be a Volunteer participant at The Moving Wall. We are so pleased to have many non Vietnam Veteran volunteers as well as those who have served in the Military. This is also a Great Opportunity for Corporate/Business Teams to sign on.

We are calling all Mental Health Professionals and Spiritual Leaders to provide support in our Reflection Tent.

Visitor Guides at The Moving Wall are a crucial part of this event.
Their duties include:

• Help visitors find names on The Moving Wall
• Assist in making Name Rubbings
• Answer questions regarding The Moving Wall
• Direct visitors to The Reflection Tent and other areas as needed.
• Assist visitors to and from their vehicles to The Wall
• Answer questions about Schedule of Events
• Help maintain a quiet, solemn, respectful presence
• Help keep the area clean and organized, Other Duties as necessary

There are so many ways to get involved & plenty of ‘Backstage’ Volunteer Opportunities!

• Prepping and installing the ‘Temporary Landscape’ elements
• Construction of the actual Platform The Wall will sit on
• Setting up the tents, tables & chairs used for The Reflection Tent &  Volunteer Tent
• Placing Street signs & helping to direct traffic  

THERE ARE MANY MORE AREAS WHERE YOU CAN HELP!!!

The Moving Wall will be open to the public 24hours a day from set-up to break-down.  Security Personnel will be on duty at all times.

We will provide a ‘Volunteer Retreat’ area for all volunteers to gather for breaks, etc. Water and snacks will be provided for you.

It is difficult to express both the excitement & Honor we feel in bringing THE MOVING WALL to Our Community. Please join us in this Legacy Opportunity.

Please indicate the AREA, DAYS & SHIFTS  that you are available to volunteer. We will reach out by phone and email in February 2026 to confirm your Schedule and give out details. (Some PREP Volunteers will be contacted earlier with assignments.)
